African Drumming Workshops for Community Event in Acton
It has been a pleasure working in partnership with Bantu Arts to host a community event for families and young people. Our team greatly appreciate the service, expertise and skill Bantu Arts bring. Steven from Bantu Arts came to do a presentation and teach us how to play the djembas at one of our work away days. He was really engaging and patient, despite all the noise and off-beats played! I had a really great time!
Inspirational Workshops for a Primary School
We booked Bantu Arts for the second year as part of our Black History Month celebrations. Our theme this year was linked with our school motto “inspiring each other” and I can honestly say that the 2 days Steven and Aboubacar were in our school were truly the most joyous and inspirational days! They led drumming workshops for all of our children from Nursery to Year 6 and made each one different and age-appropriate. Their energy and passion filled our school. The booking process was very clear and communication with the office was perfect! There’s a touch of class to the service they deliver. I booked them for my sister’s wedding n right from time management, to costumes down to the different dances they performed we were extremely blown off our feet.
